Laurier (Larry) A. Vocal, M.D.
Dr. Vocal has been providing outstanding medical care to families since 1975. He has been treating patients in the Bastrop area for over 16 years. He graduated from the University of Ottawa and completed his family medicine residency at Ottawa General Hospital and the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Canadian College of Family Physicians and has earned Fellowship status in both organizations. He serves as an athletic medical director in Bastrop. Outside the office, he enjoys gardening.
Pompeyo C. Chavez, M.D.
Dr. Chavez graduated from the Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Lima, Peru in 2001. He completed his family practice residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston from 2004 to 2007, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Practice. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys deep sea fishing, tennis, golf and spending time with his wife and young son.
Ronald Cox, M.D.
Dr. Cox earned his doctorate from the University of Kansas Medical School and went on to complete specialty residencies in internal medicine, allergy and immunology and diagnostic laboratory immunology. He is a published author and frequently lectures to the public. He is a member of the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and the Joint Council of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Cox is personable and easy to communicate with. He treats patients from children to geriatrics and tests all his patients with a needle-free system. Outside the office, he enjoys boating and spending time with his family.
